The Method's Prompt Skeleton

The idea

The M-CaReM-AI method's prompt patterns share one skeleton, adapted to each job, that adds grounding and review to the basic elements.

In practice

Step one: a role line saying what the assistant is helping with. Step two: the real context, pasted in, such as the policy text or the existing definition. Step three: the task, stated as a command. Step four: a template for the output, so every answer arrives in the same structure. Step five: constraints, such as use only what is provided or plainly implied. Step six: an instruction for anything unclear, which is to record it as an open question rather than guess. Step seven: a closing reminder that the result is reviewed and corrected by hand.

Where people slip

The method calls these skeletons to copy and adapt to your tool and style. The constraint and the instruction for unclear items are the parts most often dropped, and the most important to keep.
