Keeping the Version That Worked

The idea

A prompt that has been tested is a working asset, and the M-CaReM-AI method recommends a small, living library of prompt templates with examples of what went in and what came out.

In practice

Step one: when a prompt passes its tests, save it with a name, a date and the task it is for. Step two: store a before and after example with it, so others can see what it does. Step three: keep the library where the team already works, not in one person's notes. Step four: when the tool or the task changes, retest saved prompts before relying on them.

Where people slip

A saved prompt is not a permanent one. A tool update can change how the same prompt behaves, which is why the library keeps its test cases alongside each template.
