The idea
Germany rearmed secretly from nineteen thirty-four and openly from thirty-five. On the second of March nineteen thirty-six three thousand troops reoccupied the demilitarized Rhineland and France did not move. Italy invaded Ethiopia in October thirty-five; the League's sanctions failed. The Rome-Berlin Axis followed in thirty-six.
