Versailles and the Successor States: Alsace-Lorraine, Reparations, War Guilt, the New Map
Captions available
The idea
The Big Four decided: Wilson, Lloyd George, Clemenceau, Orlando. Germany lost Alsace-Lorraine, Danzig and the Corridor, the Saar and its colonies; the army fell to a hundred thousand; Article 231 assigned war guilt; reparations were set at one hundred thirty-two billion marks.
In practice
Saint-Germain, Trianon and Neuilly made the successor states.
