Changing a Contaminated Glove

The idea
A glove that is torn, punctured or contaminated is replaced at once, without waiting for a convenient moment.
In practice
Spare sterile gloves are kept available for exactly this; the change follows facility procedure, and the person says aloud that a glove was contaminated.
Where people slip
Reporting the change matters, because a punctured glove can also mean a needlestick that needs follow-up.
