Removing Gown and Gloves

The idea
At the end of a case, the gown and gloves are removed so that their contaminated outer surfaces do not touch the skin or clothing.
In practice
The outer, soiled side is turned inward as each item comes off, and the items are discarded in the proper container, followed by hand hygiene.
Where people slip
Most self-contamination happens during removal, so take it slowly.
