The Ideal Gas Law

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

The ideal gas law combines pressure, volume, moles, and kelvin temperature into one equation, PV equals nRT, with R a fixed constant.

Show

Given any three of pressure, volume, moles, and temperature, the equation solves directly for the fourth.

Watch for

R's numerical value depends on which pressure and volume units are chosen — the equation itself never changes.
