Keeping a Pack in Sync
The idea
The method uses AI to keep Packs current as cards and policies change, and adds a check on the change log.
In practice
Step one: give the tool the old Pack, the updated cards or field list, and notes on new decisions. Step two: ask it to update the Pack and record every change in the change log. Step three: check that each logged change is correct. Step four: check the other direction too, that nothing in the Pack changed that the log does not mention. Step five: have the steward approve the new version.
Where people slip
The fourth step is the one teams skip. The method calls an unlogged edit to a Gold Pack exactly the quiet change it forbids, because nobody reviewed what nobody knew had changed.
