The funding council announces that fines on children's cards will be waived from the next quarter. The steward gives an AI tool the current Gold Pack, the council's notice and the decision that waived fines must still be recorded, at zero, with a reason. She asks the tool to update the Pack and log every change. The tool returns a new version with three logged changes. A new reason code, council waiver, is added. A rule says the amount is zero for members under the junior age. And the effective date of the change is recorded. The steward checks each logged change against the notice, and all three are correct. Then she checks the other direction, comparing the old and new Pack section by section. She finds a fourth change that the log does not mention. In the obligations section, the tool has shortened the retention period for fine records from seven years to three, apparently copying a figure from a general template. Nobody asked for it, and the council requires the longer period. She restores it, records in the log that an unrequested change was found and reversed, and approves version two point three.
