Handling Sterile Stock

The idea
After sterilization, sterile items are handled with aseptic technique and as little as possible.
In practice
Closed or covered cabinets are ideal, though open shelving may be used; stock is moved gently, never crushed, stacked roughly or squeezed into full shelves.
Where people slip
Each extra handling raises the chance of a hidden tear or puncture.
