Captions available

The idea

Vital signs are objective measurements of temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.

In practice

The order depends on the patient and the situation; often the oximeter probe goes on first, and pulse, respirations, blood pressure and temperature follow.

Where people slip

Measure, record, and then compare each reading with the expected range.
