Leading AI at Work: Governance, Rollout and Practice / Unit 5 LAI 110 worked example, 60 to 90 seconds
Ritual Two: One Question in Change Control
The idea
The second ritual adds one question to the change reviews a team already holds, instead of a new process.
In practice
Step one: add the question to the existing change review agenda: which things are materially affected, and have we checked their matrices? Step two: apply it to any change that touches a Gold thing, alters decision logic, or adds or changes AI behavior. Step three: for those changes, require a brief walk through the relevant matrix rows, as The M-CaReM-AI Method, lesson one hundred ninety-six, teaches. Step four: list the affected items the walk finds: requirements, interfaces, reports, tests and procedures. Step five: let the matrix custodian own the habit of asking, while the change itself stays with its owner.
Where people slip
The ritual is one question, not one committee. Teams that turn it into a separate board add delay and lose the point, which is to make the question routine in reviews that already happen.
