The idea
The method's product playbook covers everyday AI features, autocomplete, summaries and recommendations, and its rule is to treat them as features with defined boundaries, not as magic.
In practice
Step one: state exactly which records each AI feature reads and which it writes. Step two: keep AI-generated text attached to the record it belongs to, so it does not spread across others without clear meaning. Step three: put each AI feature through the same design process as any other feature, with defined requirements. Step four: apply the feature gate: what it reads, what it writes, and how its output is reviewed.
Where people slip
The method's word for the failure is smearing: generated text leaking into records where nobody can tell what it means or where it came from.
