The idea
The western zones became the Federal Republic in nineteen forty-nine, the Soviet zone the Democratic Republic. NATO, twelve founders, formed in April, the Soviet bomb followed in August; the Warsaw Pact answered in fifty-five. In nineteen fifty North Korea invaded the South, and a UN force fought three years.
