The idea
Castro's Cuba aligned with Moscow after fifty-nine. The Bay of Pigs invasion of April nineteen sixty-one failed in days. Khrushchev then placed missiles in Cuba, and for thirteen days in October sixty-two the world stood nearest extinction, until both sides withdrew missiles. A hotline followed.
