The idea
At Potsdam in July nineteen forty-five the Allies confirmed four occupation zones for Germany and Berlin, reparations partly in labor, and expulsions of Germans from Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary. The United Nations, founded that year with a Security Council able to use force, replaced the League.
