The idea
The war ended the Russian, Habsburg and Ottoman empires. Austria became a rump state; Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia declared themselves before the armistice. Russia went to civil war and the Soviet Union. The Ottomans lost everything but Anatolia, and Germany lost its overseas colonies.
In practice
Four dynasties gone, the Hohenzollerns with them.
Where people slip
Russia's revolution is unit fifteen.
