The idea
The eastern war moved. Russia beat Austria consistently but lacked industry and rail, and German encirclements told. In nineteen fifteen Britain landed at Gallipoli near Constantinople to knock the Ottomans out; the ANZACs and others were gunned down on the beaches and withdrawn.
