The Case: Tracing a New Rule
The idea
The case's phase five builds the Incident Report's matrix, and uses it a month later when the state adds a reportable category.
In practice
Step one: the data architect and testing lead draft the matrix, with rows for policies, nine cards, data, screens, reports, tests, procedures and the AI drafting prototype. Step two: the state rules that a new kind of medication error must be reported even at no harm. Step three: the product owner runs the impact workshop row by row. Add the regulation; adjust the regulatory-file card and possibly the harm-level card; update the reportable-flag logic; confirm the new categories can be selected; update the serious-events report; add regression tests; revise the reporting procedure; update the drafting prompt.
