Telemetry Is Different

The idea
Telemetry is continuous heart-rhythm monitoring, using fewer electrodes than a twelve-lead ECG.
In practice
In one common five-electrode system, white goes near the right shoulder, black near the left shoulder, red and green on the lower left and right ribs, and brown at the V one position.
Where people slip
Telemetry watches rhythm over time; it does not replace a diagnostic twelve-lead.
