Filling Tubes From a Syringe

The idea
When blood is drawn with a syringe or winged set, it is transferred into tubes safely.
In practice
Place the tubes in a rack and use a transfer device or a one-handed method, never holding the tube in your other hand; let the vacuum draw the blood.
Where people slip
Do not press the syringe plunger to force blood in; the extra pressure damages blood cells.
