Leading AI at Work: Governance, Rollout and Practice / Unit 7 LAI 163 worked example, 60 to 90 seconds
The Ninety-Minute Clinic
The idea
When there is no time for a full day, the book offers a ninety-minute Object and Card Clinic for a team with one messy area.
In practice
Step one: spend ten minutes picking the mess, one area where requirements are confusing or contentious, and one thing at its center. Step two: spend ten to fifteen minutes on a fast inventory and a mini-map around that thing, not a full map. Step three: spend thirty to thirty-five minutes drafting a Silver Pack together, with a card index that names the behaviors the team keeps arguing about. Step four: spend twenty to twenty-five minutes writing one card for the most painful behavior. Step five: spend ten minutes capturing next steps, such as finishing the Pack offline or deriving tests from the card.
Where people slip
The clinic is the format behind the book's opening scene. It works because it starts from a live disagreement, which gives every minute a purpose the group already feels.
