Tracing One Lineage from Charophyte Ancestor to Angiosperm Flower

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

This capstone traces the plant lineage from a shared charophyte green algal ancestor through the four land adaptations, vascular tissue, and the seed habit to a modern angiosperm's double fertilization.

Watch for

Each stage in this trace built on the one before it without discarding it — a modern flowering plant still alternates generations, still guards against desiccation with a cuticle, and still traces its chloroplast to the same primary endosymbiotic event as its algal ancestor.
