The idea
On the sixth of June nineteen forty-four British, American and Canadian troops landed in Normandy, a hundred sixty thousand by day two. By April forty-five the western Allies neared Berlin and the Soviets took it in eleven days. Hitler shot himself; Germany surrendered on the seventh of May.
