The idea
From nineteen twenty-two to twenty-six Mussolini manipulated parliament, had opponents murdered, and ended parties and the press; one legal party, a police apparatus, Il Duce. Radio and rallies made the spectacle: "believe, obey, fight". Corporatism promised worker-owner committees; owners took all and unions were banned.
