The idea
To end the war at any price, Lenin signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk on the third of March nineteen eighteen. Russia gave up Poland, Ukraine, Finland and the Baltic states in exchange for peace. Germany lost the gains when it lost the war eight months later.
