The idea
Abdülhamid II, from eighteen seventy-six, rolled the reforms back. The Balkans went: Serbia and Bulgaria recognized at Berlin in eighteen seventy-eight, Bosnia to Austria in nineteen oh-eight. The Young Turk Revolution of nineteen oh-eight restored the constitution; he was deposed in oh-nine.
