Captions available
The idea
The exam is about one hundred twenty questions in ninety minutes, from the ancient Near East to sixteen forty-eight. Six periods carry fixed weights, and five abilities are tested: recall, cause and effect, chronology, maps and documents, and a passage's assumptions.
In practice
Medieval history is the largest band.
Where people slip
No essays. Every question is a fact, a sequence, or a reading.
