Ability Three: Chronology

The idea
The exam orders events within and across periods. The course's sequencing [P]s teach a method: fix three anchors, hang the rest between them. Across periods, the six dates that never move: three thousand, four seventy-nine, thirty-one, four seventy-six, ten fifty-four, fifteen seventeen.
In practice
Uruk's kings, Plataea, Actium, Odoacer, the Schism, the Theses.
Where people slip
B.C.E. dates count down. The exam uses that convention.
