The idea
Closing the course means stating which of its findings are settled, which are contested, and which have failed to replicate, and how a reader can check any of them.
In practice
The course's own claims sorted honestly into three groups. The settled: conditioning, memory systems, the neuron. The contested: attachment's long reach, stereotype threat's magnitude, the universality of emotional expression. The failed or revised: facial feedback, the prison study's original reading, ego depletion, learning styles. Each sorted with the reason and the source. Ends where the course started — with the appendix, and how to check any number in it.
