The idea
Bandura's reciprocal determinism holds that behavior, personal factors, and environment each continuously influence the other two.
In practice
An outgoing person selects sociable environments, which reinforce the outgoing behavior, which shapes their beliefs.
Where people slip
The model refuses to locate a single cause. That is its point and the reason it is hard to test cleanly.
