The idea
George Gordon, Lord Byron, an aristocrat with a clubbed foot, sat with the liberals in the House of Lords. Lady Caroline Lamb called him "mad, bad, and dangerous to know." After his separation he left England in eighteen sixteen, never to return, and died in Greece supporting its independence.
In practice
Lord, celebrity, exile, Greece.
