The idea

A stanza is a group of lines set off by a space, the verse equivalent of a paragraph. The glossary uses the word inside three of its own definitions but gives it no headword. Stanza shape and rhyme scheme together identify most fixed forms.

In practice

A group of lines, set off.

Where people slip

The glossary uses the word undefined.
