The idea
Picasso's Cubism showed several perspectives at once. Expressionism, Kandinsky and Marc's Blue Rider among its groups, painted feeling in color. In Vienna Klimt's gold-leaf The Kiss of nineteen oh-eight crowned his golden phase; his University murals were destroyed as degenerate. Schiele painted emaciated, ugly nudes of himself.
