Everyone Stops
Captions available
The idea
During the time out, every member of the team stops what they are doing and takes part.
In practice
The coordinator asks everyone to pause; the scrub person stops passing and counting, and conversations end until the checks are complete.
Where people slip
A time out held while people keep working is a time out that can miss an error.
