Feminist Theory on Gender
Captions available
The idea
Feminist theory, taught at Soc 0041, applies here to gender, examining how roles and institutions maintain men's advantage and treat it as ordinary.
In practice
Radical feminism examines the family itself as a site where male dominance is produced and then taken for granted.
Where people slip
This entry applies Unit 1's framework rather than introducing feminist theory as new content.
