The occipital lobe processes visual information arriving from the eyes.

Damage to the occipital lobe produces blindness while the eyes themselves remain undamaged.

Watch for

Seeing happens at the back of the head, not behind the eyes. The distance is the whole reason vision can be lost twice over.
