The idea
After any calculation, ask whether the answer is reasonable before you act on it.
In practice
A fraction of a drop cannot be given, so drops are whole numbers; an answer of many tablets, or a tiny fraction of one, usually means a setup error.
Where people slip
A surprising answer is a reason to stop, recheck, and ask, not to proceed.
