Three Interpretations of Probability

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

Classical: favorable over equally possible outcomes. Frequency: observed long-run rate. Subjective: calibrated degree of belief.

Show

A fair die (classical), an actuarial table (frequency), "70% she takes the offer" (subjective).

Watch for

All three obey the same calculus that follows. The interpretation question is what the numbers mean, not how they combine.
