A Self-Study Path
The idea
The book gives a self-study path of four to six weeks, for learning alone or coaching one person.
In practice
Step one: in week one, think in things: build an inventory and simple map for your domain, and hold one conversation in terms of things. Step two: in week two, write three to five cards for one thing, and ask a peer to critique them. Step three: in week three, turn the cards into a Silver Pack and use it once in a real discussion. Step four: in week four, build a basic matrix and use it on one real or hypothetical change. Step five: in weeks five and six, try two or three prompt patterns with your own material, and pick a small pilot area.
Where people slip
The first four weeks match The M-CaReM-AI Method; the last two match this course. By the end, the book says, you will not know everything, but you will have practised each part on something that matters to you.
