The Aim Statement
Captions available
The idea
An aim statement records what will improve, for whom, by how much and by when, so that the project's success is decidable rather than arguable.
In practice
An aim naming a population, a target figure and a date.
Where people slip
An aim without a number and a date cannot be failed, and an aim that cannot be failed is not an aim.
