Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 8 EBP 1074 short lesson, about 20 seconds
A Strong Recommendation
Captions available
The idea
A strong recommendation is one where the panel is confident that the desirable effects of an intervention outweigh the undesirable ones, implying that most or all individuals will be best served by it.
In practice
A recommendation a clinician can follow for nearly every patient it covers.
Where people slip
"Most or all" still leaves the individual patient, and Unit 05 governs what happens there.
