The Binomial Theorem expands any binomial power: (a + b)ⁿ sums C(n, k)·aⁿ⁻ᵏ·bᵏ for k from 0 to n.

(a + b)⁴ = a⁴ + 4a³b + 6a²b² + 4ab³ + b⁴ — the 1, 4, 6, 4, 1 row, every middle term present.
