Logarithms and Exponentials Are Inverses

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

Each logarithmic function is the inverse of its exponential: log_b undoes bˣ, their graphs reflect across y = x, and each one's domain is the other's range.

Show

The point (3, 8) on 2ˣ trades seats to (8, 3) on log₂ — the coordinate swap of every inverse pair.

Builds on

  • Nothing — this is a starting point.

Unlocks

  • Nothing yet depends on this.
