Falsifiability

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

A hypothesis is falsifiable when some possible experimental result could show it to be false.

Show

"Loosening the soil will not change the wilting" is a result the compacted-soil hypothesis must survive to stand.

Watch for

Science never claims to prove a hypothesis true beyond revision; it claims only that this one survived an honest chance to fail.
