The Terms the Board Actually Uses

The idea
The board's sample questions name a form and ask for its label, and the labels are ordinary ones: allegory, burlesque, epistle, fable and parody in one question, movement names in another. The exam asks recognition rather than definition, so learn a term by its clearest example.
In practice
Recognition, not definition.
Where people slip
One clear example per term beats a memorized gloss.
