Pronoun Case in Compounds
Captions available
The idea
Pronouns used as subjects take the subjective case, such as I, he, she, we and they; pronouns used as objects take the objective case, such as me, him, her, us and them.
In practice
"Leo and I cooked." "The chef thanked Leo and me."
Where people slip
In a compound, drop the other noun and test: "I cooked," "thanked me."
