Turning Each "No" Into a Backlog Line

Step one: run the six questions against the system you know best. Step two: for every answer of "no" or "it depends", write one sentence saying what it would take to answer "yes". Step three: name the thing each sentence concerns, such as the Case, the Determination or the Customer. Step four: sort the sentences by risk, so that things touching money, safety or legal obligations come first. Step five: keep the list where the team can see it, because each line becomes work in a later phase. A missing definition becomes a Pack; an untraced change becomes a traceability matrix.
