The idea
Soc 0453's organic solidarity, Durkheim's cohesion through mutual dependence among specialists, describes how a modern economy of interdependent workers holds together.
In practice
A complex economy where a farmer, trucker, and grocer each depend on the others' distinct roles illustrates organic solidarity binding an economic system.
Where people slip
Citing organic solidarity here does not mean mechanical solidarity vanished; both remain locked at Soc 0452/0453.
