The idea
Europe's eastern boundary is usually the Urals, so western Russia counts as Europe. The Industrial Revolution began in the United Kingdom, factories replacing cottage industry after Watt's steam engine of seventeen seventy-five, and rural-to-urban migration filled cities that grew as centers of trade and industry.
